Three Platforms To Generate Extra Income From Home

Working from home has become a very popular option that can help you generate extra income. Today I want to share with you three platforms where I have personally had good experiences, which I am using almost daily, and that can be useful to you if you are looking for extra income in your free time, from the comfort of your home.

Before telling you a bit about each one, I want you to keep the following in mind:
  • You don't have to pay anything to register, nor is there any kind of fee, recurring charge, or clause where you incur any expense.
  • Click on the platform name to start your registration.
  • Tasks or projects are not constant and can vary in quantity and form on each platform.
  • You don't need to work full-time; most tasks can be completed in your free time, in a couple of hours each day, but this depends on each project assigned to you.
  • GameTester and Aurora Studio belong to the same company but have slightly different focuses. It's a good idea to have both since the income you generate is shared between the two.
  • You must make sure to complete your profiles in detail so that the projects or tasks assigned to you align with your personal skills.
  • You don't need to be an expert in artificial intelligence, video games, or technology.
  • All three platforms pay in dollars.
  • Share this article with your friends 😉.
Now, I recommend the three platforms I use, with more details about each one:

1. GameTester 👈

Do you like video games or testing new apps? GameTester allows you to test games or apps in development before they hit the market. The idea is to play different versions, detect bugs or aspects that can be improved, and give your opinion about the experience.

But GameTester doesn't only focus on games or apps; some tasks may focus on recording audio from your phone or computer that could be used to train artificial intelligence (although Aurora Studio, its sister platform, specializes more in this aspect).

Every time you complete tasks, you accumulate money that you can withdraw whenever you want. I personally wait to accumulate a certain amount before withdrawing. Once you create the withdrawal, it takes a couple of days to be processed, and you can send it directly to your bank account. In the specific case of Colombia, the entire process can take up to 10 days.

It is important to note that on GameTester tasks are not continuous and a long time can pass before you are invited to new projects. What you must do is always keep your account up to date and your profile complete with the platforms or consoles you use, your language preferences, as well as the types of projects you are interested in.

Another important thing about GameTester (which applies equally to Aurora Studio) is that tasks have a time limit to be completed once you accept them, depending on their complexity or required workload. This can vary between hours or whole days, but you can complete these projects in your free time, as long as the entire task is finished within the established timeframe.

2. Aurora Studio 👈

Aurora Studio is the sister platform to GameTester; they work the same way and their interface is identical, but it focuses more on artificial intelligence training. In fact, most tasks or projects focus on this particular aspect and can include, for example, reviewing texts or translations, or recording different audio files (within the same platform) using different phrases and emotions.

Just like GameTester, you accumulate money as you complete your tasks or submissions, and then you can withdraw it whenever you wish.

Something important to mention is that the money you earn in GameTester and Aurora Studio is shared, so the tasks you complete in each one add up to your grand total. This is particularly good if there are no tasks on GameTester but there are on Aurora Studio, and vice versa.

Regarding the time to complete tasks, it works the same as GameTester; once you accept a task, the platform informs you of the time limit to complete it entirely. This is quite helpful since you can finish a task over several days, just working a couple of hours each day. It all depends on the deadline.

3. Outlier 👈

Some people have reported that they are not allowed to register on Outlier with their Gmail account, and it tells them it's not available in their country. The solution is to copy the link into an incognito window in Google Chrome, and that's it! ✌

Outlier is a very robust platform focused on the training and evaluation of artificial intelligence, both for people with no knowledge on the subject and for professionals in programming, writing, digital marketing, or other specialized areas.

This is important because your level of specialization could mean higher pay for the projects or tasks you participate in.

However, for those of us who do not have a strong specialization in any field of knowledge, tasks may focus on evaluating the responses given by artificial intelligences, writing or correcting texts, and even recording audio within the platform itself.

Each project within Outlier assigns a specific amount paid per task or hour of work, and payments are made automatically between Tuesday and Wednesday of each week
. This payment will be made for the full amount you have accumulated up to that point, regardless of the quantity, directly to your bank account or PayPal.

Unlike GameTester or Aurora Studio, to participate in a project on Outlier you must complete some training within the platform and pass tests. It is very important to do these trainings carefully and attentively. On Outlier there are always many projects available, but again, to participate in them you must have completed the training and passed the tests.

But don't worry, even if you don't pass the test for one project, you will be assigned others. Personally, there have been many tests I didn't pass, but that hasn't stopped me from actively participating in other projects. Passing the tests is easier than it seems since you have the materials online at hand; you just have to pay attention.

The interface for Outlier is simple, and you can even see in real-time how much money you have accumulated by completing your tasks. Every Tuesday (this depends on the country you are in due to time zones) the counter of your current income resets to start a new count for the week.

Participation in projects on Outlier is much more consistent than on GameTester and Aurora Studio, but there can be periods where no tasks appear for you to do. Personally, Outlier is the platform where I work the most lately, with good results.

I hope this information has been useful to you, and that it works to help you generate extra income. In my personal case, again, it has been quite good; even if not constant, I have managed to generate high income in relatively few hours of work.
